About Reeves Awnings, INC

Reeves Awnings is a third‑generation, family‑owned and operated business that began in 1956 with founders John and Josephine Reeves. What started in their back shed soon expanded, moving just 100 yards from their home into a new structure that still stands today as the company’s canvas sewing shop.



Their sons, John and George, joined the business as it grew. At a young age, George apprenticed with Dean Bennett, a long-time awning manufacturer in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. He returned with new skills that helped the small company begin producing awnings of its own.

John Reeves Jr. entered the business shortly after completing his military service. Over the next four decades, John Reeves and Sons Awnings continued to grow, adding both customers and employees. The company officially became Reeves Awnings in 2001.

Today, grandsons Edward and John III manage the business with support from a skilled team of installers and fabrication specialists.

Reeves Awnings continues to uphold the traditional craft of awning manufacturing. Every awning is custom-made and offered in a wide selection of colors, patterns, and styles. The product line now includes residential canvas awnings as well as commercial options designed for both seasonal and year-round use.
